SunSpectrum critical illness insurance features
-

Interim Insurance: In most cases you will receive immediate coverage from the time you submit your application to the time your application is approved or not approved.
(The maximum period of interim coverage is 90 days.)
Reimbursement of premium upon death: If you die while your policy is still in effect and you have not filed a claim for the critical illness insurance benefit, the beneficiary of your policy will receive a payment totaling all of the premiums you paid towards your policy.
(The maximum amount payable is the premium paid or the coverage amount whichever is less. )
Waiver of premium option: Premiums aren't payable in the event that you become completely incapacitated due to your illness and are unable to
work.
Partial payments: In specific instances and situations where the illness you have been diagnosed with is not life-threatening, you will receive partial payment of your total policy amount. In these cases, your policy will remain active with the coverage reduced by the amount of the partial payment you received. You may make a claim once per condition.
(This applies if you are diagnosed with the following illnesses or conditions: early-stage breast cancer or prostate cancer; skin cancer; or a coronary angioplasty procedure)
